me start off by saying that I don't much care for the anime
'style'. However, this was my first attempt at it. I'm quite
proud of the outcome. I had a small picture of Goku on my
monitor to go by as I sketched. With the anime, I'm going
to post the pencil sketches along with the digital finished
product. These images were done before I had a tablet, so
I scanned in the pencil sketch, and then went over it all
with a mouse (ugh!). After sketching Goku, he had this to
say:
Goku:
"Wow, that's great! So uhhh, do you have anything to
eat around here?" |
This
was my second try at the style. I had a VERY small, poor quality
Krillin picture to go by, on this sketch. It's not too bad,
however. My brother mentioned his knee looks like a buttcrack,
and I received another comment from someone (Smokey) that
Krillin's left foot looks like his right. It's true, although,
if you can force yourself to imagine that he's standing on
the balls of his feet, that's how I get over it. |
